These Consumer Booking Terms ("Booking Terms") govern the terms and conditions applicable to bookings of trips, experiences, and accommodations made through the Trevelio platform. These Booking Terms apply to all Guests ("you" or "your") who make a booking through the Platform.
These Booking Terms should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
These Booking Terms apply to all bookings made by Guests through the Trevelio platform for trips, experiences, and accommodations listed by Organizers. By completing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Booking Terms, the Organizer's specific terms and conditions (including their cancellation and refund policy), and our general Terms of Service.
In the event of a conflict between these Booking Terms and the Organizer's terms regarding the travel service itself, the Organizer's terms shall prevail to the extent that they relate to the fulfillment of the travel service. In all other matters, these Booking Terms and Trevelio's Terms of Service shall apply.
It is important that you understand the relationship between the three parties involved in a booking:
The Organizer is the individual or business entity that creates, manages, and operates the trip or experience. The Organizer is responsible for the delivery, quality, and safety of the travel service. The Organizer is the party with whom you enter into a travel services contract when you complete a booking.
Trevelio s.r.o. provides the technology platform that enables Organizers to list their trips and accept bookings online. Trevelio is not a travel agency, tour operator, or provider of travel services. Trevelio does not organize, operate, or control any trip or experience listed on the Platform. Trevelio acts as an intermediary technology provider facilitating the connection between you and the Organizer.
As a Guest, you use the Platform to discover, review, and book trips and experiences offered by Organizers. Your contractual relationship for the travel service is directly with the Organizer, not with Trevelio.
Trip listings on the Platform are created and maintained by Organizers. Trevelio does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or legality of trip listings. All information about trips, including descriptions, itineraries, pricing, inclusions, exclusions, and availability, is the sole responsibility of the Organizer.
To make a booking, you must complete the booking form provided on the trip listing page, provide all required information, and submit payment. A booking is confirmed only when payment has been successfully processed and you receive a booking confirmation.
Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation via email. This confirmation constitutes a binding agreement between you and the Organizer for the travel service described in the listing. Trevelio is not a party to this agreement except as the technology platform facilitating the transaction.
You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking. The Organizer may require specific information for the trip (such as dietary requirements, medical conditions, passport details, or emergency contacts). You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and up to date.
All payments for bookings are processed through Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms and conditions. Trevelio does not directly handle, store, or process your payment card information.
The Organizer is the merchant of record for all booking transactions. Your payment is made to the Organizer via Stripe Connect. Trevelio facilitates the payment processing infrastructure but does not hold Guest funds. The charge on your payment statement may appear under the Organizer's business name or a descriptor associated with their Stripe account.
Trip prices are set by the Organizer in the currency they choose. Depending on your payment method and bank, currency conversion fees may apply. Trevelio is not responsible for any additional charges imposed by your bank or payment provider.
Payment processing is handled in compliance with PCI-DSS standards via Stripe. Your payment card details are encrypted and processed directly by Stripe, and are never stored on Trevelio's servers.
Each Organizer sets their own cancellation and refund policy, which is displayed on the trip listing page before you complete your booking. You should carefully review the Organizer's cancellation policy before making a booking, as it will govern your rights to cancel and receive a refund.
If you wish to cancel a booking, you must do so in accordance with the Organizer's cancellation policy. To request a cancellation, contact the Organizer directly using the contact information provided in your booking confirmation, or use the booking management link provided in your confirmation email.
An Organizer may cancel a booking in certain circumstances (e.g., insufficient participants, force majeure, safety concerns). In such cases, the Organizer is responsible for providing you with a full refund or an alternative arrangement as agreed between you and the Organizer.
Refunds are processed by the Organizer through Stripe. The time required for a refund to appear on your statement depends on your payment provider, typically 5 to 10 business days. Trevelio facilitates the technical processing of refunds but does not bear financial responsibility for refund amounts.
Under EU consumer protection law, the right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period) generally does not apply to contracts for the provision of accommodation, transport, catering, or leisure services where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(l)). However, if applicable mandatory consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction provide additional rights, those rights remain unaffected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trevelio disclaims all liability in connection with the travel services provided by Organizers. Any claims related to a trip or experience must be directed to the Organizer.
If you have a complaint about a trip, experience, or accommodation, you should first contact the Organizer directly. The Organizer is responsible for addressing all complaints related to the travel service.
If you have a complaint about the Trevelio platform itself (e.g., technical issues, payment processing errors), please contact us at support@trevelio.com. We will endeavor to respond to all complaints within 14 business days.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may submit disputes to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These Booking Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
The contractual relationship between you and the Organizer for the travel service may be subject to different governing law as specified by the Organizer. Trevelio is not a party to that contract.
Nothing in these Booking Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU or national consumer protection legislation, including the Package Travel Directive (EU) 2015/2302 where applicable.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Booking Terms (as they relate to Trevelio's role as the platform provider) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Slovak Republic, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
